The One Item Challenge!

Halloween is upon us and it’s​s​that​ time of year again to dress up as your favorite movie character, TV show character or cartoon/Disney princess. DIY Halloween costumes have been made super simple thanks to our affordable trendy online fashion store. We figured we could show you just how simple it was to create a costume last minute; therefore, we have come up with a fun contest! Our fashionistas here at Shop Q have challenged themselves to a Halloween “One Item Challenge.” The stipulations for this task were to pick one affordable ladies fashion item and style 3 different outfits with said item. The chosen piece has to be in every outfit,​but ​the accessories or additional items can be anything that completes the costume. Let's​ get started​!​ Below are a couple of our examples we’d love to show you to help get your mind brainstorming for your own costume!

Chosen One Item: Ladies White Bodysuit

1. Angel:​ white bodysuit worn by itself with long white stockings, glitter makeup, angel wings and halo

2. Unicorn:​ white bodysuit worn with a rainbow tutu, unicorn headpiece ​​and rainbow/sparkly wig

3. Mummy:​ white bodysuit worn with some over the knee white boots, white eyeshadow and draped pieces of white torn fabric

Chosen One Item: Royal Blue Cropped Tank Top

1. Blue M&M: ​royal blue cropped tank top worn with blue eyeshadow, blue dyed​​hair, a large “M&M” draped around the neck and blue boots

2. Smurf:​ royal blue cropped tank top that​ you can work it​with a short high-top blue wig, fun blue makeup, royal blue skinny jeans with white ankle boots and white gloves

3. Cookie Monster:​ royal blue cropped tank top worn with a blue tutu or skirt, blue tights, hair up in a high ponytail with blue ribbon, cookie monster eyes/ mouth hanging from your neck and little cookies placed every so often across the outfit.

Chosen One Item: Yellow Mini Dress

1. Pineapple:​ yellow mini dress worn with a green wig in a ponytail, yellow​knee ​high boots and yellow framed sunglasses

2. Belle:​ yellow mini dress worn with a white headband, white gloves and clear strapped heels

3. 60s Retro Girl:​ yellow mini dress worn with knee high white leather boots, bright yellow headband, retro style belt and large yellow bracelets
